Eight22
Turning workplace chaos into a clear brand position

An average person spends 90,000 hours at work in their lifetime. An average person spends 90,000 hours at work over a lifetime. Most of us want those hours to mean something. When they don't — when toxic culture, reactive management, and turnover take hold — companies reach for consultants. But that help is often a band-aid that never touches the wound. Eight22 works differently. They're purpose-driven strategists who partner with leaders to get to the root of the problem, using purpose coaching, organizational redesign, and custom workshops to help people rediscover why they show up. If that sounds a little woo-woo for the C-suite, they'd be the first to acknowledge it — and the first to prove you wrong.
Define
Eight22 needed to redefine their offerings without losing what made them effective: a no-nonsense approach with a heavy dose of empathy. The challenge was talking about workplace healing in a way that didn't send executives running. Our strategy was to reintroduce them as a team of experts — provocative enough to create an immediate connection, grounded enough to earn trust.
Design
The verbal identity strips away jargon and speaks plainly about real organizational change. The visual identity follows the same logic: simplified, stripped back, and direct — a mirror of Eight22's method. A cool black palette warmed by gradients creates a high-contrast, high-touch feel. Interactive circular forms describe their collaborative process, and reeded glass imagery reinforces something important: this work is empathetic, and it's personal.
Deliver
With a sharper voice and a more confident identity, Eight22 can make a new introduction to the people who need them most. They're proving that healing can happen in the workplace — and that it doesn't have to be soft to be effective.
