But versatility is a hard thing to brand. Without a clear visual and verbal identity, a broad offering can read as unfocused. They needed a brand that could hold the full scope of their work without losing the personality behind it.

Our discovery focused on the tension between tradition and contemporary practice. Kinkead & Stilz carries the credibility of a firm with deep roots, but they aren't stuck in the past — they're active, direct, and genuinely engaged with their clients. The brand needed to honor that history while signaling a firm built for the work ahead.

Design

The mark is rooted in tradition — an initial-based monogram — but its angular form and abbreviated composition make it distinctly contemporary. Colors carry the same duality: grounded but not stiff. Language is direct and sophisticated, reflecting attorneys who are confident without being unapproachable. The website brings it together, organizing a broad range of services in a way that feels cohesive and navigable rather than scattered.
