Tilia
Giving a multigenerational family office a name and identity rooted in purpose

Wealth changes things. Investments shape our economy, our environment, and our politics — and the industry has a bad rap, not without reason. But wealth can also create positive change. Tilia is a family office built on that belief, using ESG investing, philanthropy, and education to push toward sustainability, bridge the wealth gap, and expand access to healthcare and food.
Define
Naming started with their roots — literal and generational — and the future they hoped to cultivate. They came to us with a few options in mind. After landscape research and strategic recommendations, one name rose to the top: Tilia, a genus of trees defined by a strong central trunk and branches that divide outward, providing shade and nectar. A perfect metaphor for a multigenerational family working toward one goal.
Design
The Tilia genus of trees is defined by a strong central trunk and branches that divide outward, providing shade and nectar. It was the perfect metaphor for a multigenerational family working toward a single goal. The identity speaks to that structure — grounded, expansive, and alive. Foundational language introduces Tilia's investment philosophy with the same clarity: focused, determined, and hopeful.
Deliver
We built a website designed to grow alongside the brand — an opening statement, not a finished product. Tilia now has a name, an identity, and a platform to catalyze something larger. A broader movement of investors who believe wealth should help, not hurt.
