International Book Project: Education nonprofit

While traveling in India the founder of the International Book Project noticed an issue. People in developing countries have a thirst for learning but they also have very limited access to books, if they have any access at all. In contrast, in developed countries, books are so common that they are decoration or discarded unread. She started a non-profit to bridge this wide gulf. IBP takes book donations in the United States and distributes them to countries in need all over the world. To date, they have distributed more than 8 million books to 168 countries.

We designed a visual identity to bring their image up to the quality of work they were doing. We also animated the logo to show what they do. The book becomes an airplane that is distributed. The identity is youthful and fun while still being flexible enough to be professional when needed.
